Destination: Wuzzleburg
The theme of Emily's birthday party this year is Wow! Wow! Wubbzy, a cartoon most of the people invited to the party know nothing about. So, here are some videos, websites, and blogs to check out! Be ready for a perfecto party!! We'll be making all kinds of crafts, eating tasty treats, and playing fun games like Kickity Kickball and Hoppity Hopscotch!!
Who is Wubbzy?
Wubbzy loves to play with his best buddies, Widget and Walden, who help him out of any sticky situation. Walden is a scientist always looking for an answer, and Widget likes to invent things. The friends sing and have lots of silly fun!
The friends celebrate Wubbzy's birthday in the "Perfecto Party" episode, the inspiration for Emily's birthday party. Walden wants to make a special "marshmallow lasagna" recipe for Wubbzy but realizes marshmallows are out of season. He has to go on a marshmallow search while the party starts without him. Of course, everything works out in the end!!

Ralph S. Mouse
Emily's latest adventure is with Ralph S. Mouse and his friends! We're reading a chapter or two a day, and so far she loves it...Update on the tomato plant - it never became anything but dirt, so it went in the garbage. Maybe we'll have better luck with our next plant project.

Emily's Latest Project
Emily came home from Sunday school this week with a tomato plant (seeds in dirt), and yes, it is in a Solo cup. Our new project is keeping the tomato plant alive long enough to enjoy shiny, red tomatoes this spring!! Emily remembers to water it about 100 times a day, but I told her it could only be watered once. Wish us luck!

Today at school Emily was inspired by Maggie's toy lizard. After mistaking the one with stripes for a worm with legs, Emily informed me it wasn't a worm but a different kind of lizard!
